Since its launch in 2003, Krista Blondin’s award-winning Janis Joplin Tribute continues to be a smash hit everywhere it hits the stage! With a history of captivating audiences into the thousands, her act continues to get the crowd cheering, screaming, laughing, dancing and even crying with her uncanny resemblance to Janis Joplin - both vocally and visually. Her band titled Piece Of My Heart, has been the highlight for Summer Of Love/Woodstock and sixties theme parties for corporate events in Canada and the US, traveling as far as San Francisco to play the Ritz Carlton for a large convention that was featured in a segment on CNBC news. During the summer of 2009, marking the 40th anniversary of Woodstock, Krista was invited to perform at Classic Rock Q107’s summer bash held at the Sound Academy where she received rave reviews on the air for her and the bands performance. 
A perfect fit for festivals, her act has shared the same stage as blues legend Buddy Guy, opened for Canada's own 'Lighthouse' at the Port Credit Jazz & Blues Festival and headlined Canada's Largest Fair The Canadian National Exhibition. In 2008 Krista received the Transformation Award at Florida's Sunburst Convention of Tribute Artists. Her strong impact in Florida led to a nomination for a 2009 Reel Awards in Las Vegas for the Rising Star category honoring the industries best celebrity impressionists. “Krista Blondin’s portrayal and recreation of Janis Joplin is second to none in the Tribute Business. She successfully made it feel like a Joplin Concert was directly in front of you.”
